MY STORY BEGINS WITH WHO I AM.
I’m passionate. I’m sensitive, yet stronger than I ever could have imagined. I’m constantly growing.
I’m pretty sarcastic, and a little feisty. I’m an overthinker. I’m loyal and honest.
I’m a dreamer. I’m a lover and I’m a fighter. But above all,
I am a mother, a wife, and a daughter of Christ.
MORE ABOUT ME
I live in the middle of the map- Kansas City. You’ll most likely catch me wearing chucks, with my hair in a bun, rockin’ hoop earrings and a jumpsuit. Some things that bring me joy: my record player, new books and journals, expressing my thoughts through writing (check out my JOURNAL page if you’d like!), old school music, fresh flowers, my polaroid, a fresh cup of coffee, having my nails done (makes me feel like a different woman), being on the beach/at the pool - preferably with a margarita in hand, browsing the aisles at target, road trips, and nights in watching movies while consuming a little too much pizza and wine. While all of those things make me happy, I feel the most content and full of joy when I’m spending time with my daughter and my husband (i’ll talk more about them at the bottom of this page), my family and close group of friends. Relationships are everything to me, and without them, I don’t know where I’d be.
I WEAR MY HEART ON MY SLEEVE
Especially when it comes to those people and things that I love most. Relationships and people are what I hold closest to me. I pour a lot of emotion into relationships, which is why photography matches perfectly with who I am.
I wouldn’t say that I have a specific genre of photography that I specialize in; I would just say I focus on people. I am a wedding photographer, but I am also a couples, family, and lifestyle photographer. Seeing two people crazy in love and getting to capture that part of their story or having the opportunity to photograph a sweet, growing family- there’s nothing like it. But as a woman and a mom, I know how beautiful it is to also celebrate womanhood and self-love. Women are badass and beautiful- upon so many other things- and giving them extra attention and putting the spotlight on them is something I love to do.
