Shortly after securing the date and making the original deposit, doctors had told my fiancé (now husband) and I that his lymphoma was back. Thankfully after a couple biopsies he was cleared and we proceeded as scheduled but she held that date for us regardless of knowing whether or not we’d be able to commit.
